Police fatally shoot 'potential intruder' at Alabama school
A man who attempted to enter an Alabama primary school
death by police Thursday morning, specialists said.
Gadsden City Schools Superintendent Tony Reddick let columnists know
that a "possible gatecrasher" went to a few entryways attempting to get into Walnut Park Elementary School,
where a late spring proficiency program was being led for 34 youngsters.
Every one of the outside entryways were locked and the chief reached
the school asset official when she understood what was occurring, Reddick said.
"Our essential concern was simply ensuring that somebody who wasn't approved
to be in our structure doesn't enter and our children are protected," he said.
