Google celebrates one of Africa's top poet

Google is showing a Doodle in some countries on May 12, 2022  

Google is showing a Doodle  celebrate the 92nd birthday of Mazisi Kunene 

Kunene returned to South Africa in 1992 

Kunene wrote and published poetry from very early in his life

In 1966, his works were banned by the Apartheid government of South Africa 

He became a Professor of African literature at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

Kunene died on 11 August 2006 in Durban
