Carlos Santana’s mid-concert collapse blamed on heat exhaustion, dehydration
Rock legend Carlos Santana imploded during a show Tuesday night in Michigan, the consequence of intensity depletion and drying out, his director said.
Santana, 74, has been visiting with Earth, Wind and Fire and was in a set at Pine Knob Music Theater in Clarkson, Michigan, around 42 miles north of Detroit, when he fell, as per witnesses and video from the scene.
Clinical specialists took care of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee before he was taken away stage, video shows.

A show booked for Wednesday at a similar setting has been delayed until additional notification, as per the assertion. It wasn’t known when he’d be back out and about.
